Installing “Edge of A Meadow” Exhibition at FP3 Gallery!

Date

Since Covid 19 hit in March, this solo show has been postponed several times from April, to May and June. It felt rewarding to finally install the show. Susan, the curator and I came prepared with masks, gloves, and followed the 6 ft apart protocols during the installation.

It was a pure joy working with Susan! Things moved effortlessly during the whole process. First we laid out where each painting would go. Then we stood back and made edits- switched paintings around until everything fell into place. We got to use Susan’s fancy laser beam to align all the paintings centers. We started with the large wall above and then moved around the gallery.

I went up and down the step ladder a few times to make adjustments. The space has wonderful tall ceilings and is airy. I also love Susan’s idea of having limited attendees at the reception, so visitors will need to book their time slots ahead. There will be a total of 10 people in the gallery at one time and mask wearing will be required.

We finished the installation quicker than I imagined and the space looks great! Susan made the whole process a breeze- thankful to have the opportunity to learn new skills and have loads of fun!

Looking forward to the opening on July 15th. Check “Exhibitions” for more info. on Sign up Genius for times and appointments.
